In honor of its one-year anniversary, the nonprofit music video platform — VuHaus — will be live streaming from this year’s WXPN Non-Commvention in Philadelphia, taking place May 18, 19 and 20. Viewers will be able to watch Non-Commvention live on VuHaus.com or on the VuHaus android and iOS app.
VuHaus officially launched at last year’s 2015 Non-Commvention with a coalition of public radio member stations from across the country. That coalition of stations — KCRW (Los Angeles), KEXP (Seattle), WFUV (New York), WXPN (Philadelphia), KUTX (Austin), and KTBG The Bridge (Kansas City) — are regarded by rock, blues, roots and folk artists as top, “musical taste makers,” according to VuHaus. Over the course of a year, VuHaus has grown into 10 markets and expects to announce four additional stations in the coming weeks.
Attendees at a typical Non-Commvention consist of representatives from the country’s most notable public media music stations, marketing and promotions companies, record labels and media. Talent and touring mangers on top of the many performers, who are scheduled to play this year, will also be in attendance. More info on Non-Commvention can be found at its website.
